Bald Eagles on Eaton Road

For the last three days I have seen Bald Eagles just NE of the intersection of Eaton Road and Cohasset Road. They are in the Willow Trees about 300 yards North of Eaton Road. For a Google Map Click here.

Dennis M. spotted a Burrowing Owl inside a vernal pool area North of Valley Forge Dr. near Sycamore Creek diversion channel on January 23, 2007.

Golden Eagle Sighting in Chico

Thursday January 4, a Golden Eagle was sighted in a tree on Ceres Ave. north of of East Ave. It was a mature bird and seen by several different people.

King Fisher

I sighted a flying Belted Kingfisher over Sycamore Creek at Cohasset Road (just North of Eaton Rd.). I’ve always felt that they look like a dart while flying.
I have seen King Fishers and Green Herons at this site before.
