Thursday January 4, a Golden Eagle was sighted in a tree on Ceres Ave. north of of East Ave. It was a mature bird and seen by several different people.

On Thursday, 7-21-07 at 5:15 PM I saw a Bald Eagle flying from east to west over my home which is on a hill above Lakeport (Lake Co.) Northern, CA. It had flown over Clearlake and was last seen flying into the mountains west of Hwy. 29. This is the first time I’ve ever seen one of the beautiful birds in this area and I thought someone would be interested. It was a full grown adult flying an estimated 100′ off the ground so there was no question as to its identification.
